Update: The 49ers announced changes to the mandatory minicamp schedule. This article has been updated to reflect those changes.

The San Francisco 49ers wrapped up organized team activities on Thursday and will reconvene for a three-day mandatory minicamp next week. It will consist of two days of practices, and head coach Kyle Shanahan will speak to the media after each.

The minicamp was initially planned for June 11-13, but it looks like the 49ers will shorten the schedule by one day, which isn't inconsistent with what the team has done in recent years. The 49ers used the third and final day of minicamp in 2017 and 2018 as a "family day" for players.

Both practices will be open for reporters to observe. While fans are not allowed to watch, 49ers president Al Guido announced on Wednesday night that the team would once again make many training camp practices this year open to the public.

Next week's minicamp will be the last time players hit the practice field before receiving a six-week break until training camp in late-July.

Next week's media schedule is below.

Tuesday, June 11

  • 10:40 am practice
  • Approximately 12:10 pm: Shanahan press conference
  • Select players will be made available after Shanahan speaks

Wednesday, June 12

  • 10:40 am practice
  • Approximately 12:10 pm: Shanahan press conference
  • Select players will be made available after Shanahan speaks

All times are Pacific. As always, the schedule is subject to change.
