The San Francisco 49ers worked out former Buffalo Bills tight end Chris Gragg, according to NFL Draft Diamonds.

The Bills made Gragg a seventh-round draft pick out of Arkansas in 2013. He has registered 24 receptions for 251 yards with two touchdowns in three NFL seasons (2013-15). A torn ACL during a preseason game forced Gragg to miss the entire 2016 season. He was released the following March.

Gragg signed on with the New York Jets on July 28, 2017, but an ankle injury landed him on injured reserve before the start of the regular season.

He finished the regular season with three receptions for 69 yards. But Conley saved his best for the postseason. Although he only had two receptions for 35 yards, his catches came in big moments. In the Divisional Playoff Game against the Green Bay Packers, with the 49ers trailing 21-17, Conley brought in a 17-yard catch that moved the ball to Green Bay's 26-yard line. The 49ers scored the winning touchdown on the drive. Then in Super Bowl LVIII, Conley hauled in an 18-yard reception in the first quarter to help set up a Jake Moody field goal.
