Fans seem pretty excited about the addition of running back Tevin Coleman, who on Wednesday signed a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers. There are mixed reactions on the return of oft-injured defensive back Jimmie Ward, who looks to prove his worth after signing a one-year deal.
The details of each contract have emerged courtesy of Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Coleman's contract contains some interesting incentives tied to total rushing yards and being named to the Pro Bowl. Ward's contract includes incentives related to playing time and being among the active 46 players on game days, which partially protects the team should he fall victim to injury again.
