No San Francisco 49ers wide receiver has more than 225 receiving yards this season. Second-year Rams receiver Cooper Kupp has 30 receptions for 438 yards with five touchdowns, which ranks him No. 3 among Los Angeles receivers in receiving yards.
The 49ers won't have to worry about planning for Kupp, according to Rams reporter Myles Simmons. Rams head coach Sean McVay said on Wednesday that the receiver is likely ruled out of Sunday afternoon's matchup at Levi's Stadium after suffering an MCL sprain during the team's Week 6 win over the Denver Broncos.
Kupp tried to return in the second half after being carted off the field but was very limited. He did not have a catch in the game. The Rams could rely more on second-year receiver Josh Reynolds in Kupp's absence.
The Rams made Kupp a third-round draft pick out of Eastern Washington in 2017. Kupp's five receiving touchdowns lead the team, and only four NFL receivers have more this season.

Steelers reportedly interested in trading for 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk
The Jacksonville Jaguars were reportedly interested in trading for star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. However, the San Francisco 49ers' asking price of the No. 17 overall pick plus a player was seemingly too high for the team.
Now, it appears another AFC team might be trying to pry Aiyuk away from the West Coast. Andrew Fillipponi of Pittsburgh-area radio station 93.7 The Fan reports that the Steelers are looking to work out a deal with the 49ers for the receiver.
"Sources: The Steelers have looked into 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk," Fillipponi wrote on social media. "He's entering the last year of his contract. Steelers would have to execute a sign and trade. But they've shown
