Pro Football Talk has broken down the five-year, $47.5 million contract handed to center Weston Richburg by the San Francisco 49ers.
Below is the year-by-year breakdown of the deal, which includes $16.5 million fully guaranteed at signing with an additional $12 million in injury guarantees.
2018
Signing bonus: $9.3 million
Base salary: $3 million (fully guaranteed)
Roster bonus: $4.2 million (due fifth day of league year; fully guaranteed)
Workout bonus: $100,000
Per-game roster bonus: $400,000 total
2019
Base salary: $5.5 million (guaranteed for injury at signing; fully guaranteed as of 4/1/19)
Workout bonus: $100,000
Per-game roster bonus: $400,000 total
2020
Base salary: $6.5 million (guaranteed for injury at signing; fully guaranteed as of 4/1/20)
Workout bonus: $100,000
Per-game roster bonus: $400,000 total
2021
2021 is an option year that must be exercised by the end of the 2020 league year.
Base salary: $7.85 million
