Depending on what he sees on the film from this past Sunday's victory over the Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan may owe 49ers beat writer Grant Cohn a Christmas gift. The Press Democrat reporter pointed out a tendency that he noticed from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo during the 49ers' latest win.
During Shanahan's Wednesday press conference, Cohn stated that Garoppolo appeared to be keeping his head down when run plays were called but raised his eyes to survey the secondary before pass plays. Cohn asked Shanahan if he noticed that as well.
"I didn't, but now I'll go back and check," Shanahan said as reporters laughed. "I appreciate that. I hope Jacksonville's not listening to this press conference. If it is, I'll change it. Thank you."
