The San Francisco 49ers remain winless after losing their ninth-straight game – this time to the Arizona Cardinals. The 49ers' 0-9 start to the season is the worst in franchise history. The Cardinals, who improved to 4-4, defeated the 49ers 20-10 at Levi's Stadium on Sunday.

Below is a mix of some key player stats provided by the 49ers Communications staff and Pro Football Focus.

Key Player Statistics

Running back Carlos Hyde set new single-game career highs in both receptions (9) and reception yards (84). His nine receptions on Sunday are the most in a single game by a 49ers running back since 2010 when Frank Gore had nine for 102 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Quarterback C.J. Beathard completed 24 of his 51 attempts for 294 yards, including a career-long 55-yard completion to wide receiver Marquise Goodwin. Beathard also had three carries for 16 yards and a touchdown, which was his second such score of the season.

Beathard was under pressure by the Cardinals defense on 19 of his 58 dropbacks. He was just two of 14 for 26 yards, five sacks, an interception, and a 9.8 passer rating while under pressure.

While guard Brandon Fusco had a good day blocking, the rest of the interior of the offensive line did not perform well. Guard Laken Tomlinson allowed three of Beathard's five sacks, a hit, and two hurries. Center Daniel Kilgore gave up another sack, two hits, and a hurry.

49ers receivers have dropped 29 passes this season, which leads the league. The group had five drops against the Cardinals.

Defensive lineman DeForest Buckner had three run stops and two quarterback pressures against the Cardinals.

Safety Eric Reid pulled in his ninth career interception and his first of this season when he picked off Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton in the end zone.

After cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon allowed a 52-yard reception on the Cardinals' first offensive play of the game, he allowed just one catch throughout the rest of the game.

Cardinals running back Adrian Peterson forced eight missed tackles by 49ers defenders. 110 of his 159 yards rushing came after contact.
