LSU safety Jamal Adams was among the players who met with the San Francisco 49ers at the NFL Scouting Combine last month, per the San Francisco Chronicle.
No surprise, but #49ers met with LSU safety Jamal Adams, a potential top-5 pick, at the NFL combine. Haven't heard about a pre-draft visit.

Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle notes that there have been no reports of a scheduled pre-draft visit to the 49ers' headquarters. The 49ers are permitted to host up to 30 players for visits at the team's headquarters in Santa Clara, California. Visitors to the team's headquarters are not allowed to work out for the team unless they are local prospects.
Adams, the son of former New York Giants running back and Super Bowl champion George Adams, compiled 209 tackles, with 18 for a loss, two sacks, five interceptions, 14 passes defended, and two forced fumbles with the Tigers. As a junior in 2016, he had 76 tackles, a sack, one interception, and a forced fumble.
Lance Zierlein of NFL Media, who compares Adams to Darren Woodson, had the following to say in his scouting report:
"Interchangeable safety with a sheriff's mentality. Adams is a physical tone-setter who should thrive near the line of scrimmage or in a robber role. Should be a commanding presence in the locker room early on and his do-as-I-do play demeanor could be the catalyst for turning a struggling defense around quickly."
