As new head coach Kyle Shanahan and new general manager John Lynch work to put together the San Francisco 49ers coaching staff for the 2017 season, we'll update the names to whom the team has reportedly been linked for each position.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan may be leaning toward Mac Jones of Alabama with the No 3 overall pick. The former Crimson Tide quarterback may have been the target when the Niners traded up nine spots last month. Other than a brief weeklong drop to the No. 2 spot, Jones has been the betting favorite for much of the time since the blockbuster trade. While they love and respect fan opinions, the duo doesn't plan on letting the chatter influence its decision on who to draft on Thursday with the No. 3 overall pick.
