After missing two games with a sprained AC joint, San Francisco 49ers RB Carlos Hyde is active against the Arizona Cardinals. His name was absent among those listed as inactive for today's game.

Hyde suffered the injury during the third quarter of the team's October 16 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He has been limited in practices for the past two weeks and was listed as Questionable on Friday's injury report.

On Saturday night, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Hyde expected to play on Sunday against the Cardinals.

Hyde has 429 yards on 109 carries and six touchdowns so far this season. He has averaged 3.9 yards per carry.

The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 2 matchup at home against the New York Jets. These players will not suit up for Sunday's game. It sounds like a safe bet that wide receiver Mohamed Sanu will be on the field for the 49ers against the New York Jets this weekend, even though he only has one practice under his belt after officially joining the team Friday. The 49ers officially announced the signing of the veteran receiver late Friday morning after his agent revealed earlier in the week Sanu would be joining the team on a one-year deal. Sanu, 31, brings some much-needed depth to a 49ers receiving room that has been decimated by injury and also has the ability to step in and contribute right away after spending a season in Shanahan's system while Shanahan was the offensive coordinator in Atlanta in 2016. Shanahan expressed confidence earlier in the week in Sanu's ability to help the 49ers
