On Friday, San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula spoke to the media. "That game is not anything that anyone here is proud of," Tomsula said referring to the 49ers' 20-3 home loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.

Tomsula said that he would not consider any in-season changes to the offensive staff. As for changes at quarterback, Tomsula stated "Colin [Kaepernick] is our quarterback." There is no quarterback controversy.

Injury Updates

Kaepernick's thumb, which was injured during the game, has swelled up. However, it is not believed to be anything serious.

Antoine Bethea is at Stanford getting an MRI on his shoulder/chest. The severity of the injury is not yet known and the team has to await the results, which will come back sometime today.

Jaquiski Tartt suffered a leg contusion, but was walking fine around the facility today.

Kenneth Acker had cramps. There was nothing serious there.

Carlos Hyde came out of the game looking good. Hyde has been fighting a foot issue for weeks now. On Thursday, it was revealed that he might have a stress fracture, but he ended up playing against the Seahawks. Tomsula stated that the 49ers do not put players into those kinds of situations. The severity of Hyde's injury is still now know.
