Purdy's value has sparked plenty of debate. Some argue he deserves to be among the NFL's highest-paid quarterbacks. Others feel he deserves to be further down the annual salary ranking.

Rich Eisen, however, is confident that Purdy will exceed the $50 million mark annually, likely landing him among the league's top 10 earners, and Eisen believes it would be well worth it.
"Get Purdy done, get it in, and get this thing finished," Eisen said on The Rich Eisen Show. "Give Purdy that thing with a five in front of it and let's go, because that's what it's going to be and that's what he deserves."
Co-host Chris Brockman disagreed, but Eisen stood firm, insisting Purdy has earned a top-tier salary.
"It's what he deserves, a guy with his accomplishments," Eisen continued. "MVP finalist one year, Super Bowl quarterback, he's proven himself. He was given zero opportunities, had it finally dropped in his lap, and he saved the bacon of the franchise that traded all that stuff for [QB] Trey Lance, who's now a backup across the street (with the Los Angeles Chargers), his third team being a backup now. We're not talking about that, and all the stuff that they gave up for him.
Eisen added, "[Purdy] saved a lot of people's bacon up there."
The good news for San Francisco is that they wrapped up Kittle's deal early, avoiding the contract drama they've faced in past offseasons with Brandon Aiyuk, Nick Bosa, and Deebo Samuel. Now, the spotlight shifts to how quickly they can get something done with Purdy.
