Quick Takeaways
Jimmy Garoppolo was among the two lowest-graded offensive players. The 49ers quarterback had some big plays but also produced some costly mistakes. He was sacked four times, threw an interception, and had that costly fourth-quarter fumble. It was about as up-and-down of a performance as Garoppolo has had.
Tight end George Kittle was among the three highest-graded offensive players for the second time this season, ranking as the highest-graded player on offense against the Packers.
Trent Williams hasn't earned an overall grade of lower than 81.8 this season, showing that he remains one of the best tackles in the game. The veteran offensive lineman's 93.2 overall grade for this season is the highest of his career.
Tackle Mike McGlinchey has seen a steady improvement since his shaky start in Week 1. That includes pass-blocking grades of 73.7 and 71.5 in the last two games.
Norman was the team's highest-graded player. However, he left the game early due to an injury. It was a costly loss for the defense, which struggled to stop Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the end.
Defensive lineman Arik Armstead is quietly having a fantastic season. His 84.6 overall grade is closer to his 2019 production, and his pass-rushing grade of 86.8 this season is a career-high.
