It's a topic that Pam Oliver brought up while interviewing Garoppolo after the game, saying that defenses have a theory that, to defeat San Francisco, you should make the quarterback try to beat you with his arm. She asked Garoppolo how sick he is of hearing that.
"Let's keep that theory going," Garoppolo responded.
Garoppolo finished the game 26-of-35 for 349 yards with four touchdowns and an interception. The quarterback quickly turned the attention away from himself and gave credit to his teammates for the 48-46 road victory.
"It's a great team win today," Garoppolo continued. "I thought all three phases played great. The guys up front battled their ass off. It was awesome."
