Mullens' combined Pro Football Focus passing grade of 72.1 since becoming a starter during Week 9 ranks 13th among all NFL quarterbacks during that span.
WR Richie James' 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown marked the first time a member of the 49ers registered a kickoff return for a touchdown since WR Ted Ginn Jr. registered a 102-yd. kickoff return for a score against the Seahawks on September 11, 2011.
James is the first 49ers rookie to return a kickoff for a touchdown since RB Amos Lawrence did so in 1981 (92 yards vs. LAR).
