The bust will then be displayed at the 49ers Alumni Weekend Dinner honoring DeBartolo on Saturday night. It will then be placed on display at midfield of Levi's Stadium on Sunday, November 20 during a special halftime ceremony honoring DeBartolo as he receives the coveted Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence created by Kay Jewelers.
The ceremony will take place during the 49ers' home matchup against the New England Patriots.

DeBartolo was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this past August in recognition to his contributions to the game as the longtime owner of the 49ers from 1977 to 2000.
During his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction speech back in August, DeBartolo shared an interesting story about the bust and its sculptor. "Funny story about this bust," DeBartolo shared. "Back in 1982 the 49ers had won our first Super Bowl, Bill Walsh wanted to create a bust of the two of us. So he called a sculptor he had met in Utah by the name of Blair Buswell. He came down and did this mini-sculpture. We asked him what his dream was. He said he wanted to make Hall of Fame busts one day, so we made a call. In the 34 years since, Blair has created over 80 Hall of Fame busts, including mine."
