Wide receiver Anquan Boldin, who led the 49ers in receptions and yards in each of his three seasons with the team, is finalizing a one-year deal with the Lions, ESPN reported. Boldin, who will turn 36 in October, had said he'd like to return to the 49ers, but the team will give a host of young receivers a chance for playing time opposite Torrey Smith in 2016. Boldin had 237 catches, 3,030 yards and 16 touchdowns with the 49ers and was named the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year after the 2015 season.
