It doesn't seem as though former San Francisco 49ers OT Anthony Davis is close to returning to the team. Once again, he tweeted out his frustrations today, saying that the 49ers should draft an offensive tackle with their top selection. "I do not want to work with a front office or anyone else who seemingly doesn't want to win as bad as I do," Davis said via Twitter.

Davis even offered some advice to 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick when asked about him.

On April 1, Davis sent out a tweet that he would be filing for reinstatement later this year, but took a bit of a shot at Baalke while doing so.
That left many to question whether he truly wanted to play for the 49ers in 2016 or if he was looking to be dealt to another team. His latest tweets are yet another example of his frustrations with the 49ers.
Davis, who is 26, retired following the 2014 season after dealing with a number of injuries, including a concussion. He stated that he wanted to get healthy before returning to the NFL. His injuries limited him to only seven games in 2014. Davis, who is very vocal on Twitter, had repeatedly confirmed that he planned to return to the 49ers, who continue to hold his rights.
Last season, his absence left the 49ers with free agent acquisition Erik Pears starting at right tackle, contributing to making the offensive line one of the worst in the NFL. Davis was the 11th overall selection by the 49ers out of Rutgers in the 2010 NFL Draft. He has played his entire career with the 49ers and started every game prior to 2014.
The 49ers currently hold the seventh overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft, which begins Thursday night.
