Wochit News - Jarryd Hayne has survived the first round of cuts in the National Football League.The former professional rugby star has spent training camp and the preseason with the San Francisco 49ers.Beginning his professional career in the National Rugby League, the Australian still has 23 cuts to weather before he make's an NFL roster.Currently at 75 players, NFL teams are limited to 53 active roster players during the season.
