The list of players cleared to get back on the field included defensive end Nick Bosa, wide receiver Mike Evans and fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
The only projected starter who was not suited up for practice was cornerback Renardo Green, who sustained a hamstring injury in the 49ers’ second preseason game on Aug. 20 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Veteran cornerback Jack Jones would be first in line to step in for Green.
Bosa has been sidelined since Aug. 5 with tendinitis in his surgically repaired right knee. He was back on the field and going through individual drills on Wednesday at the start of practice.
The 49ers are scheduled to land in Melbourne, Australia, on Friday morning. The team will have a short practice on Saturday before beginning their regular practice week on Monday for their Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
