Case in point: Per the California Post, York pinged a dummy ad for a prostitution service multiple times before arranging a Sunday-morning dalliance. The first attempt happened the prior day. He reportedly used an alias: Joe.
"York messaged the female and advised that his name was Joe and that he would like to visit the female," detectives wrote in an official document, per the Post. Later on Saturday, York "advised that he was just checking in, and was seeing if the female was available."
After receiving no reply, York tried again at 9:11 a.m. ET on Sunday morning. Per the official report, York "asked if the female was free, and that he would love to come see her." He said he was driving from Boardman to East Palestine, and he asked the woman to "shoot him an address." He then reportedly asked for the charge for one hour.
