One year ago, the 49ers made a last-ditch effort to bring Dre Greenlaw back to Santa Clara, and now that the linebacker is a free agent, the front office could make another push for a return to the Bay Area. San Francisco’s feelings for Greenlaw likely have not changed, even after the defender spent a season with the Denver Broncos after signing a three-year, $31.5 million agreement.
