Running back Christian McCaffrey was the lone San Francisco 49ers player selected to the 2025 Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA) All-NFL Team. However, the 49ers were well represented on the All-NFC Team, with left tackle Trent Williams and linebacker Luke Gifford earning honors, joining McCaffrey. Gifford was recognized for his standout contributions on special teams.
The 2025 selection marks the third All-NFL honor of McCaffrey's career (2019, 2023, 2025). The star running back delivered another dominant season, totaling 2,126 scrimmage yards and 17 touchdowns. It was the third time in his NFL career that McCaffrey eclipsed 2,000 scrimmage yards and the third season in which he recorded at least 17 touchdowns.
