SEATTLE — The 49ers will head into the 2026 offseason with a much more certain future than they did just one season ago. After the team’s disappointing 41-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, both Trent Williams and Kyle Juszczyk confirmed they are planning to return to the Bay Area for at least another season. “Yes, that’s accurate,” Williams said when he was asked if he would be back. The All-Pro left tackle will be 38 by the time the 49ers’ next training camp begins and arguably still is playing some of his best football. Williams, who notched his 12th Pro Bowl selection this season is invigorated by the young members of the team that helped the team make it as far as the divisional round. “[This season] was extremely special to me because I’ve never been part of a team that was so behind the eight-ball that just found a way to compete every week,” Williams said postgame. “We went against so many rosters that were fully loaded while we were playing with guys who we got a week ago, two weeks ago.“I’m just proud of this team.
