The 49ers held off the Chicago Bears in the final seconds for a 42-38 win on NBC’s “Sunday Night Football,” keeping the goal of the NFC’s No. 1 seed still in their sights. San Francisco’s PFF grades show details of Brock Purdy’s play, which included a second consecutive five-touchdown performance in the thrilling win. The quarterback had significant help from his offensive line, including Austen Pleasants, who took over at left tackle for Trent Williams, who left with a hamstring injury after the first play of the game.Purdy was productive when under pressure on eight of his 38 dropbacks, or 21.1 percent. The playcaller completed three of his four attempts for 14 yards and two touchdowns when the Bears’ defense brought pressure, and was sacked once. While the Bears did register one takedown of Purdy, his 7.7 pressure-to-sack rate remains the NFL’s lowest amongst all qualifying quarterbacks, and is currently the lowest in a season since Jay Cutler in 2008 (6.1 percent).The Iowa State product has an overall 89.4 grade this season, which places him second behind only Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford....
