The San Francisco 49ers knocked off the Chicago Bears 42-38 at Levi's Stadium on Sunday night, setting up a massive Week 18 showdown with the Seattle Seahawks. The winner of the NFC West matchup will clinch the division title, the No. 1 seed, and home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.
Both teams are riding a six-game win streak. Just hours before the 49ers took care of business against the Bears, Seattle beat the Carolina Panthers 27-10.
San Francisco and Seattle opened the 2025 NFL season against each other, with the 49ers edging the Seahawks 17-13 in Week 1 at Lumen Field. Next weekend's rematch will be held at Levi's Stadium.
The NFL announced that the 49ers-Seahawks matchup will take place on Saturday, January 3, with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m. PT.
