SANTA CLARA — Ricky Pearsall’s locker being adjacent to both George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey has been very fortuitous for the young 49ers wide receiver. Kittle has been a resource for the first-round pick while dealing with multiple injuries, including a five-game stint while recovering from a posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injury sustained in Week 4. “Unfortunately, I’ve dealt with injuries,” Kittle told NBC Sports Bay Area. “I always give myself 24 to 48 hours depending on what it is, and then after that, attack it like you attack everything else — with a positive mindset.” Pearsall’s return to the field also has been a challenge, with only five receptions over three games until finally notching nearly 100 yards in Week 15.
