The San Francisco 49ers announced two roster moves ahead of their Monday Night Football showdown with the Carolina Panthers, elevating two players from the practice squad for the Week 13 matchup.
The 49ers elevated:
Gay steps in for regular kicker Eddy Piñeiro, who suffered a hamstring injury last week against the Arizona Cardinals and was officially ruled out on Saturday. San Francisco will also be without starting linebacker Tatum Bethune, who will miss the game due to an ankle injury.
