Denver Broncos linebacker for former 49ers star Dre Greenlaw has been suspended for one game without pay for unsportsmanlike conduct, the NFL said Monday.“The NFL issued the suspension for a violation of Rule 12, Section 3, Article 1(b), which prohibits ‘the use of abusive, threatening or insulting language or gestures to opponents, teammates, officials, or representatives of the League,’” the league said in a press release. “After the conclusion of the Giants-Broncos game, Greenlaw chased after referee Brad Allen and verbally threatened him as he tried to leave the field.”In Denver’s improbable 33-32 victory at home against the New York Giants, the ex-49ers defender is seen on video after Wil Lutz’s winning field goal running after chief referee Brad Allen and having words for the official before a flag is thrown.
