SANTA CLARA — Quarterback Brock Purdy is scheduled to take some first-team practice snaps on Wednesday, as he aims for a return to the 49ers’ starting lineup.Purdy, who missed the past two games with a toe injury, is expected back on the field Wednesday to take part in limited work, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said.The 49ers (3-0) return to action against the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1) on Sunday in a Week 4 game at Levi’s Stadium.Purdy was limited in his practice activity last week after being held out of all on-field work the previous week. He sustained the injury in the 49ers’ Week 1 win at the Seattle Seahawks.Meanwhile, Mac Jones, who started for the 49ers in victories against New Orleans and Arizona, is also scheduled for limited work, Shanahan said.
