The 49ers on Saturday elevated quarterback Adrian Martinez and wide receiver Malik Turner from the practice squad to be available to play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.The 49ers placed offensive lineman Spencer Burford on injured reserve with a knee injury.The move to elevate Martinez suggests he will serve as the No. 2 quarterback behind starter Mac Jones and Brock Purdy is not likely to be in uniform. Purdy is listed as questionable with a toe injury. Turner will play a role in the 49ers’ home opener at Levi’s Stadium with Jauan Jennings questionable with ankle and shoulder injuries and rookie Jordan Watkins ruled out with a calf injury.The other 49ers receivers are Ricky Pearsall, Kendrick Bourne, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Skyy Moore.Turner, 29, has appeared in 44 games in his career with Seattle, Dallas and the 49ers.
