Kyle Shanahan, 49ers exploring kicker options as Jake Moody’s struggles continue

The 49ers have a substantial question at kicker, and they are not sure yet what the answer is.Jake Moody, who had a rollercoaster of a preseason performance, has not shown he has regained his confidence, missing a 27-yard field goal in the second quarter of the 49ers’ 17-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at Lumen Field.Moody’s second attempt in the third quarter was blocked due to poor protection on the left side of the offensive line.
