The 49ers on Saturday elevated wide receiver Russell Gage Jr. and linebacker Curtis Robinson from the practice squad to be available to play Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks.The 49ers did not make a move at running back with Christian McCaffrey listed as questionable on the team’s official injury report with a calf condition. The 49ers opted against elevating running back Sincere McCormick from the practice squad.Rookie running back Jordan James is listed as doubtful with a finger injury. The running backs eligible to play for the 49ers on Sunday are McCaffrey, Brian Robinson Jr. and Isaac Guerendo. Fullback Kyle Juszczyk could also play halfback in an emergency role.Robinson is expected to play a key role as a core special-teams player against the Seahawks, while Gage could be the team’s No. 3 wide receiver.Gage was on the 49ers’ 53-man roster when the week began.
