SANTA CLARA — Superstar running back Christian McCaffrey appeared on Thursday’s 49ers practice report as limited for a calf condition.Coach Kyle Shanahan will speak to the media on Friday, but until then, everyone outside the building will speculate on the specific details involving McCaffrey’s health.McCaffrey made it through the offseason and training camp appearing to have bounced back from the bilateral Achilles tendonitis that limited the veteran back throughout the 2024 NFL season.
