SANTA CLARA — The 49ers head into their second practice of the week with only two players sitting out of practice.After practicing on Monday, Yetur Gross-Matos will sit out of Wednesday’s on-field practice. Coach Kyle Shanahan shared that the defensive lineman did not experience a setback in his knee recovery, insinuating they will be careful with the veteran.Jordan Watkins is the only other player on the 53-man roster who will not be on the field as the rookie wideout makes his way back from a high ankle sprain.Players who will be limited on the field are Jauan Jennings (calf), Dominick Puni (knee) and Jordan James (finger).Shanahan shared that Jennings indeed will be ready for Week 1 in Seattle in the team’s divisional clash with the Seahawks.“He looked good on Monday, getting back into it,” Shanahan said Wednesday. “Having all that time off, we got to ease him in.
