SANTA CLARA — The 49ers are heading into their 2025 NFL season opener the healthiest they have been yet, with all but one player on the 53-man roster participating in practice. The team held a “bonus” practice on Monday — a shorter session that normally would not be held during the regular season, in which several players made their return, and/or their 2025 practice debut. Most notably, was wide receiver Jauan Jennings, who appeared to reclaim his spot at the top of the depth chart.The attitude was cheerful as Jennings greeted both general manager John Lynch and coach Kyle Shanahan as practice began. The welcome back for Jennings carried over to the pre-practice huddle as Fred Warner, Chase Lucas and Jordan Elliott all gave extended greetings to the wideout.As the receivers went through individual drills, Jennings took his spot next to Ricky Pearsall when the group warmed up as the first two players at the top of the drill.Russell Gage returned to practice as well, and joined Robbie Chosen as the next two wide receivers paired up during the early portion of practice.The only player on the 49ers’ 53-man roster that was not participating in...
