What to Know The San Francisco 49ers improved to 2-1 in preseason play after a 30-23 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Saturday’s finale at Levi’s Stadium. Some familiar faces were back in Santa Clara for the matchup, including ex-49ers coach Jim Harbaugh and former No. 3 overall 2021 NFL Draft pick Trey Lance, who played three drives at quarterback against his old team. 49ers quarterbacks Tanner Mordecai and Carter Bradley both dealt with nagging injuries throughout the game, but combined for 174 total yards and a touchdown apiece.
