Here are five 49ers to watch in Saturday’s preseason finale vs. Chargers

SANTA CLARA — After three days of practices this week, the 49ers figure to sit many of their starters in the final game of the preseason.Coach Kyle Shanahan wants to avoid the chances of anything happening Saturday night against the Los Angeles Chargers that could impact the 49ers’ decisions with their 53-man roster.All NFL teams must trim their 90-man rosters to the regular-season limit of 53 players by Tuesday, 1 p.m.Shanahan and general manager John Lynch are constantly in communication to discuss scenarios for piecing together their personnel for the start of the regular season. The 49ers kick off Week 1 on Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Seattle Seahawks.“It’s a really complicated thing that we really can’t talk about enough because it’s always changing each day, and it will be all the way up to when we make that decision,” Shanahan said. “Even after we make that decision, we’ll have to do that all the way until the Friday or Saturday of that game, also.”Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, Trent Williams, Nick Bosa, Fred Warner and many others will likely sit this one out.
