Rehabbing Brandon Aiyuk helping 49ers wide receivers on field, behind the scenes

SANTA CLARA — Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk remains on the sideline during 49ers training camp, but he appears eager to get involved.Aiyuk has been on the field regularly at practices this summer, although he’s not allowed to practice. He remains on the physically unable to perform list as he recovers from knee surgery in November.“It’s been awesome. He’s out there every day,” 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak said of Aiyuk. “He’s with those guys. He’s very much a part of the position group, meaning he’s not just isolated doing his rehab. Being around the building, he’s been in individual drills with them. He’s on the field. When we’re in meetings, he’s engaged.
