San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk was seen celebrating after the Detroit Lions signed their star wideout, Amon-Ra St. Brown, to a lucrative four-year contract extension. This led many to speculate that Aiyuk, awaiting his own deal, views St. Brown's contract as a benchmark that strengthens his position at the negotiating table. According to a new report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, that speculation may very well be accurate. Aiyuk is likely seeking a deal similar to, if not exceeding, the one St. Brown received. Brandon Staley gains deeper appreciation for Nick Bosa since joining 49ers

Brandon Staley has transitioned from working with one Bosa to another. As the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, he worked with four-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Joey Bosa. Now, he gets to work with Joey's younger brother, Nick Bosa, who also boasts four Pro Bowl selections and a first-team All-Pro nod in 2022. Staley joined head coach Kyle Shanahan's staff and will serve as the assistant head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. The team values versatility, and Lenoir has demonstrated to his coaches that he can be relied upon in various roles throughout the secondary. Whether lining up inside or outside, Lenoir's adaptability and consistent performance have made him an invaluable asset to the defense. 49ers defensive backs coach Daniel Bullocks believes Lenoir made a significant mental jump as a player last season, and the analytics back that up.
