The NFL has released the offseason workout dates for all 32 teams. The San Francisco 49ers will commence their offseason program on April 15, culminating with a mandatory minicamp in early June.

Below are the specific dates for the 49ers' offseason program.

  • First Day: April 15
  • OTA Offseason Workouts: May 20-21, May 23, May 28-29, May 31
  • Mandatory Minicamp: June 4-6

Phase one of the offseason program spans two weeks and includes limited activities such as meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehabilitation only.

Phase two covers the subsequent three weeks and includes on-field workouts for individual or group instruction and drills. While offensive and defensive players may line up against each other, activities must proceed at a walk-through pace, with no live contact permitted.

Phase three extends over the next four weeks, during which teams can conduct up to 10 days of organized team activities on the practice field. Live contact remains prohibited, but teams can engage in 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills.

Additionally, the 49ers will hold a rookie minicamp during the first or second weekend following the 2024 NFL Draft. After the scheduled mandatory minicamp in June, players will enjoy time off and are not obligated to report back to teams until training camp.
