The 49ers defense held the Giants to just 150 total yds. vs. NYG (9/21), marking the fewest amount of yds. allowed in a single game since 12/3/17 at Chi. (147 yds.).
The unit also held the Giants to 29 rushing yds. on the evening, which is the fewest rushing yds. the team has surrendered since they allowed 25 rushing yds. in 2019 at Cin. (9/15/19).

QB Brock Purdy completed 25 of his 37 passing attempts for a career-high 310 yds. and 2 TDs with a passer rating of 111.3.
With the win, Purdy has improved to 8-0 in the regular season in his career, giving him the third-most consecutive wins by a quarterback to begin a career since 1970.

RB Christian McCaffrey registered 18 carries for 85 yds. and 1 TD to go along with 5 recepts. for 30 yds.
McCaffrey's 5 recepts. on the night give him 453 recepts. in 78 career games, making him the fastest RB in NFL history to register 450 career recepts.
With 85 rushing yds. on the night, McCaffrey reached the 5,000 yd. mark (5,079 yds.) and surpassed RB Garrison Hearst for the most rushing yds. in Weeks 1-3 in franchise history.

McCaffrey's rushing TD marked his 3rd of the season and 41st of his career. It also marked his 9th-consecutive regular season game with 1-or-more TDs, which is the longest streak of his career and the most consecutive regular season games with 1-or-more TDs by a 49ers player since RB Wendell Tyler [10 games (Week 11, 1982 – Week 3, 1983)].
Including the postseason, McCaffrey has scored 1-or-more TDs in 12-consecutive games, which is the longest active streak of any NFL player and ties the 2nd-longest streak by a member of the 49ers [WR Jerry Rice, 1987 – 12-consecutive games with 1-or-more TDs (Week 1-16)]. McCaffrey's 12-consecutive games with a TD also tie former NFL RB LaDainian Tomlinson for the 4th-most consecutive games with a TD since at least 1990.

With a 65-yd. rushing TD Week 1 at Pit. (9/10/23), a 14-yd. rushing TD Week 2 at LAR (9/17/23) and a 4-yd. rushing TD, McCaffrey became the first 49ers RB to score 1-or-more rushing TDs in Weeks 1-3 since RB Frank Gore accomplished the feat in 2008 [1 rushing TD Week 1 vs. Arz. (9/7/08); 1 rushing TD Week 2 at Sea. (9/14/08); 1 rushing TD Week 3 vs. Det. (9/21/08)].

WR Deebo Samuel tallied a career-high 12 recepts. for 129 yds. and 1 TD.
His 129 yds. mark his first 100-yd. game of the season and the 11th of his career, while his rec. TD marked the 13th of his career.

WR Ronnie Bell hauled in 2 recepts. for 24 yds. and 1 TD. He registered the first TD recept. of his career on the first recept. of his career, a 9-yd. pass from QB Brock Purdy.

DL Nick Bosa registered 3 tackles and 1.0 sack of New York Giants QB Daniel Jones. The sack marked his 1st of the season and the 44th of his career.
His 1.0 sack on the evening ties him with DL Aldon Smith for the 6th-most sacks in franchise history.

K Jake Moody connected on all 3 of his FGAs (28, 21 & 36) and all 3 of his PATs. With 3 FGM Week 1 at Pit. (9/10/23), 3 FGM Week 2 at LAR (9/17/23) and 3 FGM this week vs. NYG (9/21/23), Moody became the 4th kicker in NFL history and the 1st since 1997 to make 3-or-more FGs in each of his first 3 career games (K Richie Cunningham, Dal. – 1997, K Ryan Longwell, GB – 1997; K Olindo Mare, Mia. – 1997).
