According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Baltimore Ravens are signing journeyman quarterback Josh Johnson, who spent the end of last season with the San Francisco 49ers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made Johnson (6-3, 205) a fifth-round selection (No. 160 overall) out of San Diego in 2008. According to Pro Football Reference, he completed one-of-two attempts for 10 yards through two game appearances with the 49ers last season after being signed off the Denver Broncos practice squad.

Johnson also made a playoff appearance with the 49ers but was knocked out of the NFC Championship Game due to a concussion. He was 7-of-13 passing for 74 yards in that playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Johnson, 37, has completed 58 percent of his passes for 2,280 yards with 13 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 39 game appearances (nine starts) through his eight NFL seasons with the Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Commanders, New York Jets, Ravens, and 49ers. He was also part of rosters with several other teams without taking a regular-season snap.
