John Lynch: 49ers will pay Jimmy Garoppolo’s $24.2 million salary in 2021

General manager John Lynch said Saturday the 49ers will not ask Jimmy Garoppolo to take a pay cut or restructure his contract this season. Garoppolo has a base salary of $24.2 million and will count $27 million against the salary cap.
