49ers could have Deebo Samuel, Richie James cleared for Week One

The 49ers have not gotten much good news at the receiver position this offseason. They received better news Wednesday. 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk have chances of returning for the opener. Head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters following the San Francisco 49ers' 33-6 victory over the New England Patriots and provided several injury updates. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel suffered a hamstring injury. Running back Jeff Wilson Jr. suffered an ankle injury. Wide receiver Richie James suffered an ankle injury. 49ers activate Richie James from IR, Darrion Daniels, Kevin White from practice squad

The San Francisco 49ers announced that the team has activated made the following roster moves ahead of its matchup on Sunday night against the Los Angeles Rams. WR Richie James activated from injured reserve DL Darrion Daniels and WR Kevin White activated from the team's practice squad Daniels and White are being "flexed" to the active roster and will revert back to the practice after Sunday's game. James sustained a hamstring injury during the 49ers' Week 1 contest against the Arizona Cardinals. That was after suffering a broken wrist in June.
