49ers receiver Trent Taylor out indefinitely after foot surgery

During the first half of their preseason opener against the visiting Cowboys, the 49ers announced that Trent Taylor, their top slot receiver, had foot surgery Friday and will be sidelined indefinitely. Taylor had a pin inserted in his fractured pinkie toe and the 49ers hope he can return early in the regular season.
