On Thursday, the 49ers placed inside linebacker Fred Warner in a blue jersey that meant he was not to participate in any contact during team drills because of a chest injury he sustained a day earlier. And then Warner, a third-round pick, proceeded to make a potentially serious rookie mistake: He made very hard contact with the starting fullback, who has a $21 million contract. Despite his noncontact status, Warner leveled Kyle Juszczyk with a shot that broke up a pass from Jimmy Garoppolo and left Juszczyk down on the field for more than a minute. Juszczyk, who evidently had the wind knocked out of him, rose to his feet and slapped hands with Warner a few moments later.
