Terrell Owens' Pro Football Hall of Fame wait is over. The All-Pro wide receiver was voted into the Class of 2018 on Saturday. Owens made the announcement himself via social media.

Owens, who was drafted by San Francisco in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft, was with the 49ers until 2003. He also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, and Cincinnati Bengals.
The six-time Pro Bowler and five-time first-team All-Pro registered 1,078 career receptions for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns. He ranks eighth all-time in receptions and is second only to Jerry Rice in all-time receiving yards. He also ranks third in all-time receiving touchdowns and fifth among all NFL players in touchdowns. In 2000, Owens broke the record for catches in a game. That record was later broken in 2009 by Brandon Marshall.
This was Owens' third year as a Hall of Fame finalist. He did not receive enough votes to be among the top 10 candidates in previous years.
"Terrell Owens gave our organization eight great seasons of service and some terrific memories that will live on in 49ers lore," said 49ers CEO Jed York via a statement released to the media. "He is one of the most accomplished wide receivers in the history of the NFL, and very deserving of this selection to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The 49ers organization would like to congratulate him for this great honor."

Also included within the Class of 2018 is another former 49ers receiver – Randy Moss, who played one season in San Francisco. This was his first year of eligibility.
Moss, who played in the NFL for 14 seasons, was the 21st-overall draft pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 1998. He also spent time with the Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, and his final season (2012) with the 49ers.
During his year in San Francisco, Moss registered 28 receptions for 434 yards and three touchdowns in 16 game appearances and two starts.
The six-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro registered 982 career receptions for 15,292 yards and 156 touchdowns. Last year, Moss was inducted into the Vikings Ring of Honor. He ranks fourth all-time in receiving yards and 15th all-time in receptions. Moss is second only to Jerry Rice in all-time receiving touchdowns and fourth among all players in touchdowns.

Another member of the Class of 2018 is long-time NFL executive Bobby Beathard. He is the grandfather of 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard. The elder Beathard was a director of player personnel for the Miami Dolphins and the general manager for both the Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers.
Other members of the Class of 2018 include linebackers Brian Urlacher (Bears) and Ray Lewis (Ravens), safety Brian Dawkins (Eagles, Broncos), offensive lineman Jerry Kramer (Packers), and linebacker Robert Brazile (Oilers), according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
