Reuben Foster played three games in November, which was one more than he managed in the first two months of his injury plagued rookie season. The result: The 49ers inside linebacker was named the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Month. Despite playing in one fewer game than some of his competition because of a bye week, Foster received the honor after collecting 30 tackles, including 25 solo stops, in three games. The first-round pick became the fifth 49er to win the award, and the first since rookie inside linebacker Chris Borland in November 2014. The other previous winners are Patrick Willis, Aldon Smith and Andre Carter.
