The upcoming NFL Draft holds special significance for the San Francisco 49ers, with ties to several familiar faces from the team's past. Here are my rapid reactions—my quick observations

The selection of former Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall came as a surprise to most. There were plenty of surprises in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, with several teams deviating from projections in mock drafts. Undeterred, a couple of analysts have put together their projections for Day 2 of the draft following the aftermath of the first round. Dane Brugler of The Athletic believes the 49ers will use the second-round pick, No. 63 overall, to bolster their defense. He projects former Georgia cornerback Kamari Lassiter to join San Francisco with the selection. "Although his stat sheet and tape don't scream
